This might sound crazy, but...
I've been working in IT all my life.
Let's talk UX Design.
Let me ask you this. What do IT and Designers have in common?
We're problem solvers.
Throughout my career, I'm asked common questions and more often than not I give the same answers.
"How do I do this, Ross?"
"I don't see a button for that."
"I'm looking for this option, do you remember where it is?"
"Why does this happen when I click here?"
Truth be told, I have asked these same questions too on occasion and that's when it hit me - it's not an incompetent user, the <insert technology> is poorly designed.
This is my calling card - I can do this. I can help design better experiences for people. With a strong foundation in IT, I have developed a keen eye for detail and an understanding of how technology can enhance the user experience. I am now pursuing my passion for UX and UI design to create products that meet the needs of both users and businesses.
